Deborah is a CPA with a Bachelor of Business Administration from BCIT and over 16 years of experience in finance roles across Canada and the United States. She has spent the past decade working with early-stage technology companies, supporting organizations through growth, system transitions and increasing operational complexity. Most recently, Deborah served as Controller for a growing health-tech company in Toronto where she led the company’s audits, implemented a new revenue recognition system, and oversaw a payroll migration. She is frequently brought in as the first finance hire to establish accounting functions, implement systems, and build processes from the ground up. Her experience includes financial reporting, audit management, revenue recognition, and financial system implementation in high-growth environments.
Outside of work, Deborah enjoys weekend adventures around the Okanagan with her husband, daughter and Bernese Mountain dog.
