Doug brings nearly 30 years of finance experience, with the last 15 spent leading finance teams in software and tech companies. He has deep, hands-on expertise across finance operations, investor relations, and M&A—always with a focus on building scalable, efficient teams and translating business goals into clear, actionable plans.
Doug served as CFO of MKS Inc. until its acquisition in 2012 and has since worked as a fractional CFO, investor, and board member across a range of high-growth tech companies. He’s known for his ability to simplify complex financial data and deliver clear insights to management teams, boards, and investors—helping companies make confident, well-informed decisions.
In the SaaS and technology space, Doug has consistently built meaningful KPIs that drive performance and shaped financial strategies that scale. He’s led multiple M&A transactions from end to end, managing everything from diligence to negotiation on behalf of company leadership and shareholders.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and has been a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) since 1993.
