Jackie brings a thoughtful, people-first approach to HR, with hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee development. She’s passionate about creating inclusive, engaging workplace cultures where teams can thrive.
Before joining BrightIron, Jackie worked as a Talent Development Specialist at BlackBerry, where she led onboarding, managed the company’s mentorship program, and created training experiences that helped employees grow and succeed. She played a key role in fostering collaboration and supporting leadership development across the organization.
Earlier in her career, Jackie worked as a Recruiter and HR Assistant at Rapid City Transportation, where she managed full-cycle recruitment and led high-impact hiring events that exceeded targets. She’s known for her strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to keep things running smoothly—even in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Jackie earned her Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she built a strong foundation in HR strategy and best practices.
Outside of work, you’ll find Jackie cooking up something new, cycling, or enjoying time at the cottage with friends and family.
