Prior to joining BrightIron, Megan worked as a Controller with Lifelearn, a SaaS tech company operating in the animal health tech space, where she managed the company’s financial reporting function, developed all of the company’s financial processes from the ground up including the implementation of a new SaaS billing system. Prior to Lifelearn, Megan worked with two companies where her responsibilities included reviewing and improvingtheir processes, implementing technologies to increase efficiency and reliability of their financial data, financial reporting, and financial analysis. Megan graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration and completed her CPA, CMA designation shortly thereafter.
In her spare time, Megan like to spend time with family and working on craft projects. She loves to travel and is happiest sitting by a resort pool with a good book.
