Melissa brings experience gained from a career in finance, human resources and administration, spanning more than 20 years and across a multitude of industries including tech, manufacturing and service. She thrives on standardizing and streamlining processes and finding efficiencies to help her team. Melissa takes great pride in her ability to bring people together while working towards a common goal. She has always had a keen interest in new technology and identifying opportunities to integrate it wherever possible.
Prior to joining the team at BrightIron, Melissa worked for a crane manufacturing company where she was instrumental in the standardization of their accounting function and processes. She thoroughly enjoyed managing the budget process and providing analysis on variances to help the Executive team make financially informed decisions.
