John’s solid background in accounting comes from the practical experience he gained as the staff accountant for Nymi (a tech company located in downtown Toronto); and prior to that, in a hands-on management role in the finance department at the Toronto Star. Since joining Brightiron, John has enjoyed the opportunity of being part of a highly supportive and knowledgeable team, while making the accounting experience for his clients as easy as possible.
In his spare time, John likes to relax by watching all types of sports on TV, and trying out recipes from New York Times Cooking. He also enjoys a daily walk and doing some gardening when the ground isn’t frozen.
